This website, aharsh.com, is operated by Aharsh, an independent oil painting artist based in India. We sell original artworks and painting courses directly to collectors and students worldwide. For any privacy-related enquiries, write to us at lifeisanart2@gmail.com.
What information we collect
We collect information only when you actively provide it to us:
- Contact form — your name, email address, and message when you reach out to us.
- Purchase transactions — your name, email, and phone number as entered in the Razorpay payment popup. We do not receive or store your card or banking details — those are handled entirely by Razorpay.
- Email correspondence — any messages you send to us directly.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies of any kind on this website.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and commission requests.
- To process and fulfil your purchase and send you an order confirmation.
- To contact you about shipping, collection, and after-sale support for your artwork.
- To send course enrolment details if you purchase a painting course.
We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Payment processing
All payments on this website are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. When you complete a payment, you are subject to Razorpay's own Privacy Policy in addition to ours. We receive only a payment confirmation reference — not your card or bank account details.
Cookies
This website uses one small localStorage entry to remember your light/dark mode preference between visits. No cookies are set for tracking, advertising, or analytics.
Data retention
We retain contact form messages and purchase records for as long as necessary to fulfil your order and for a reasonable period after to handle any follow-up enquiries (typically 3 years). You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.
Your rights
